Zoning Officer

Lawrence Township Zoning was adopted by the Board of Supervisors on April 19th, 1993 by Ordinance 93-1.  Zoning is to promote, protect and facilitate the public health, safety, morals, general welfare, prevent overcrowding of land, blight, danger or congestion in travel and transportation, to preserve prime agricultural and farmland, and much more.  

Please remember to contact the Code/Zoning Officer as early as possible when looking to putting in a
business or any other use in Lawrence Township.  The Code/Zoning Officer will make sure your project is in compliance with your district and let you know how to proceed with your project.   We welcome new projects when in compliance with our zoning.
